What is confirmed
The first public demo (2–3 June 2026) was described on PlayStation.Blog as about 30 minutes of the early story. It featured Parry, Deflect, Issen, Oni Armament, soul absorption, the Kiyomizu-dera stage, and a duel with Sasaki Ganryu.
The expanded demo (25–26 August 2026) is on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Official copy sends players beyond Ganryu into the Oni Refuge, ending on Daidara.
Demo save data does not continue into the full game. Keeping it unlocks Charm: Kubi Akari via the Spirit Mirror.

Capcom did not publish a new total runtime for the expanded demo. Community guesses such as 35–40 minutes are not official.
Byakue is not named as an expanded-demo story boss on Capcom, PlayStation.Blog, or Xbox Store copy. A 10-Issen demo unlock is community talk.
The June PlayStation.Blog post still prints the superseded 25 September launch date. Current launch is Friday, 4 September 2026.
